Listen up, ladies! I know the struggle of being an overloaded female entrepreneur all too well. You’re trying to juggle everything – the business, the family, the housework, and everything in between. It can be tough to find time for yourself, let alone find the time to get everything done. 

Guess what? It’s time to shift your mindset. It’s time to take control of your days, and I’m here to help. 

In this blog post, I’m going to share with you five mindset shifts that will help you have productive days, even when you’re feeling overloaded. 

So, grab a cup of coffee, put your phone on silent, and let’s get to it.

Stop Putting Too Much Pressure on Yourself

As a female entrepreneur, you’re probably used to putting a lot of pressure on yourself to get everything done. But here’s the thing, putting too much pressure on yourself can actually be counter-productive. It can make you feel overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious, which can lead to burnout. So, stop putting so much pressure on yourself. It’s okay if you don’t get everything done in one day. Focus on the most important tasks and prioritize them.

Create a Productive Morning Routine

How you start your day sets the tone for the rest of your day. So, create a morning routine that sets you up for productivity. I have this on my calendar as a daily, Morning Meeting, even on weekends. This includes things like meditation, exercise, reading, and journaling. I also use Sunsama to organize my tasks and meetings. Whatever it is that helps you get into a productive mindset, do it.

Most importantly, make sure you’re not checking your emails or social media first thing in the morning. This can distract you from your goals and take you down a rabbit hole of unproductive time-wasting. 

Learn to Say No

One of the biggest mindset shifts you need to make as an overloaded female entrepreneur is to learn to say no. It’s okay to say no to things that don’t align with your intentions or don’t serve you. Saying no will help you prioritize your time and energy on the things that matter most. Remember, your time is valuable, and you have to protect it.

NO is a sentence, my friend.

Celebrate Small Wins

As an overloaded female entrepreneur, it’s easy to get caught up in what we haven’t achieved yet, but it’s important to celebrate small wins along the way. Every little success counts, no matter how small it may seem. Celebrating small wins will help you stay motivated and committed to your goals.

Set Realistic Expectations

Finally, one of the most important mindset shifts you need to make is to set realistic expectations for yourself. You’re only human, and you can only do so much in a day. Don’t set unrealistic deadlines or unrealistic expectations for yourself. This will only lead to disappointment and discouragement. Set intentions that are achievable and realistic. And remember, progress over perfection.

Being an overloaded female entrepreneur is tough, but it doesn’t have to be impossible. By making these five mindset shifts, you can take control of your days and be productive, even when you’re feeling overloaded.
