Living in a big city, it is hard to feel the power of nature and all its benefits for our health and wellbeing. One way of feeling closer to nature for me is carrying it with me – literally! I always have a small bottle of our family grown and distilled essential oils (Lavender, Rose, Peppermint, etc. depending on my mood) in my bag. As Bulgarian-Armenian expat moved from Varna to Barna (Barcelona) I always felt а strong connection with my roots, with the beautiful and bountiful nature of my homeland. That made me think – what can I do to help others feel the same way but on a broader scale?

Having worked in the corporate world for many years helped me find the answer – go all in the family business. It is an honour and a privilege to be able to build on SARIS legacy – being a reliable partner, providing 100% pure natural raw materials for the natural personal care, pharma- and cosmeceutical, fragrance, aromatherapy and clean green beauty companies.

In our distillery, we process typically Bulgarian plants and produce:

Smoke tree (Sumac) essential oil (Cotinus coggygria) and floral water (hydrolat)
Lemon balm essential oil (Melissa officinalis) and floral water (hydrolat)
Peppermint essential oil (Mentha pipperita) and floral water (hydrolat)

Due to the specific Bulgarian climate and fertile soil, we are able to create natural products which meet the highest standards. Their properties make them widely used in many industries including fragrance, personal care manufacturing, pharma- and cosmeceuticals, aromatherapy, medicine, cooking.

🔥 Since 2020 we are recycling our bio waste (leftovers from the distillation) to manufacture pellets for fuel. The pellets are then used as fuel to power our distillation plant.

For the curious ones who want to see how our products are manufactured – you are more than welcome to visit our distillery during the harvest season from June through July (pre-booking required).
