Hi AYG Community!! I’m Shelly Lynn Hughes Founder of pursuit 365 and Publisher of Fresh magazine. Over my 20 years experience in the publishing and small business sector I’ve learned one very important lesson to my entrepreneurial success and that is, is: connection. No matter who you are, what you do for a living or where you are in your life, we all have one thing in common. In the words of Rumi, ‘we’re all here to walk each other home’, meaning we’re all here to really see each other, and feel heard and accepted for who we are. The way we make real connection with others is by accepting them for who they are. And vice versa, for people to really accept you for who you are. If you’re into tattoos, you love hair and makeup, you shop thrift, you etc. etc. … Whatever our differences, we’re all here and we’re all here at the same time dong our thing. And that needs to be celebrated.
I’ve created a platform for people to feel heard, seen and appreciated for their uniqueness in our pursuit:365 community. We not only put out a big coffee table style book each year and dedicate each day highlighting one of our community members on social but we also facilitate connections through A> B. C . We want more people to hear stories of real people from all walks of life so they can go out and pursue what matters most to them.
I am very proud to feature 365 of our community members in each of our first two books and today you can find them being sold in USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, Portugal, and the UK.
