About Tess
Entrepreneurship has always been my dream, and after having my miracle baby boy, Ferris, I realized it was a now-or-never moment to jump in and become an author with a product the world needs. I created the I’m Very Ferris (IVF) children’s picture book series focusing on IVF through a child’s perspective.
Ferris is my last embryo and the answered prayer of faith, love and science through in vitro fertilization.
After surviving sudden cardiac arrest and being diagnosed with takotsubo cardiomyopathy, I have also become a professional public speaker on heart disease prevention and awareness.
Come 2022, this website will be the place to compile all the things that have happened to me in the last five years through my certified Fertility Heart Wellcoaching. Because no one should have to go through fertility, infertility, and/or heart disease alone. Be sure to check out the virtual meeting packages for one-on-one membership.
Now a little about me, personally…
In November 2019, I am proud to say I ran the New York City Marathon. I love to host parties and celebrate life, no matter how small the occasion!
I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Elmhurst College, which is also where I met my best friend and husband, Dan. We have a Havanese named Gatsby and a Siamese cat named James Bond. (Both of which are Ferris’ partners in crime).
I am a mother, first and foremost, and everything else comes second. I believe you really can have and achieve anything you want…but you are going to have to work for it and expect nothing to be handed to you.
My husband often calls me his real-life Steve Jobs because I live my life by the following:
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
