COASTAL ELOPEMENT IN CANNON BEACH

The red sun on Vanessa & Daniel’s Elegant Oregon Coast Elopement tried to emerge behind a blend of coastal fog and smoke from the not-too-distant wildfires.

After changing their wedding plans amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the couple opted for an Oregon Coast elopement at a private home in Cannon Beach.

These aren’t your typical wedding day curveballs but our team remained hopeful and determined to help create a wedding day of their dreams wrapped in elegance.

A LOVE THAT SHINES THROUGH..

Despite grey skies, Vanessa & Daniel beamed as they exchanged vows on the evergreen lined yard with music playing in the background. While the couple stepped away for photos with their photographer, we greeted their family on the back porch with one of our signature cheese and charcuterie boards and an enticing array of hors d’oeuvres..

THOUGHTFUL COASTAL MENU SELECTIONS

Several Covid-19 safety considerations were arranged for the day starting with centrally located and touch-free sanitizer dispensers. Individually prepared cocktail hors d’ oeuvres and duplicate cheese boards to limit guest contact with the food.

Our classic shrimp cocktail with a touch of Joe’s Famous Stone Crab Mustard Sauce was a favorite among guests during cocktail hour. Water color place cards at each dinner setting allowed guests to easily find their place next to their travel companions.

CLASSIC, MODERN AND COMFORTABLE

We were delighted to bring Vanessa & Daniel’s chic vision to life through a carefully planned menu and table setting. Love radiated from their thoughtful details…Soft colorful masks, and embroidered handkerchiefs “for happy tears” were available for the family upon arrival. Not to mention the cozy Pendleton socks for cold feet later in the evening.

White pillar candles and creamy velvet danced down their table among the pillowy florals provided by Scarlet Blooms; thus creating an elegant and comfortable sanctuary for the evening.

FAMILY FIRST

As family stories and toasts were shared over candlelight our team added the finishing touches on a plated dinner. Marrying the flavors of the Oregon Coast with the couple’s favorite dishes.

The couple reminisced on how their love story began among laughter, fond memories and a few more happy tears.

MOLTO BENE!

Dinner concluded with a celebratory cake cutting, cookies and the dreamiest tiramisu cups in a nod to the groom’s Italian heritage. To quote the sweet notes arranged at each setting, we hope this day of memories will be remembered for a lifetime!

LOVE ENDURES

We don’t know much about this year, but under the greyest skies of 2020 love endured.
